ekofertile® plant
ekofertile® plant is an organic, liquid plant biostimulant based on a controlled and patented fermentation process. During production, beneficial, growth-promoting bacteria (including Lactobacillus strains) generate a broad spectrum of natural plant metabolites; the final product contains no effective levels of live microorganisms (below defined tolerance limits).
The product combines fermentation-based metabolites with dissolved silicate minerals (Fe, Mn, and Si components in plant-available form). It supports key plant physiological processes and promotes vigorous, uniform development—especially during periods of increased environmental stress.
Soil & Microbiome: ekofertile® plant is designed to stimulate biological activity in the root zone and improve soil function. The organic acids, amino acids, peptides, and other fermentation metabolites contained in this product can serve as readily available sources of carbon and nitrogen, thus positively supporting the microbiome dynamics in the rhizosphere. This strengthens the rhizosphere as an active “nutrient conversion zone” — leading to a more stable soil structure, improved nutrient mobilization, and increased nutrient availability for the plant.
The fermentation metabolites include, among others, naturally occurring compounds from the groups of cytokinins, auxins, jasmonates, abscisic acid derivatives, and phenols (e.g., salicylate and benzoate derivatives). Additionally, proteins, peptides, vitamins, essential and non-essential amino acids, and organic acids (including lactic, acetic, and phenyllactic acid) are present; the pH value is 3.8–4.8.
ekofertile® plant is designed to:
- support nutrient efficiency and micronutrient availability,
- promote root development and early vigor,
- improve tolerance to abiotic stress (especially heat and drought),
- strengthen soil function and microbial activity in the root zone,
- positively influence quality parameters such as sugar/Brix values and the nutrient status of plants (depending on application and crop).
These effects are documented by numerous studies conducted by independent research and testing institutions.
Jasmonates: JA = jasmonic acid, JA-Ile = JA isoleucine.
Phenolics: BzA = benzoic acid, PAA = phenylacetic acid, PAAM = phenylacetamide, SA = salicylic acid, SinAc = Sinapic acid.
Special Effects

- Activates the rhizosphere: supports microbial activity and a stable soil microbiome in the root zone.
- More nutrients available: promotes nutrient mobilization and availability in the soil.
- Soil structure & water: supports soil aggregation and can improve the soil's water retention capacity – especially in light/stressed soils.
- Fast start: promotes germination, emergence, and early plant development.
- Increased vitality: supports vigorous plant development and uniform growth throughout the season.
- Root power: promotes root growth, root branching, and thus the access of water and nutrients.
- Stress performance: improves tolerance to abiotic stress – especially heat and drought stress.
- Nutrient efficiency: supports the uptake and utilization of micro- and macronutrients (focusing on Fe/Mn/Si).
- Visible quality: can positively influence Brix/sugar values as well as other quality parameters and the nutrient status of plants (crop-dependent).
- Yield & quality: can increase yield and harvest quality – depending on crop, location, and management.
Applications

Foliar application
Spray a concentration of 3% (3 litre of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution) 2 to 3 times in the tillering phase and the stem elongation phase.
ekofertile® plant can be used together with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, liquid fertilisers or microfertile® plant – however, we cannot accept any liability.
For crops showing signs of disease, increase the concentration to 10% (10 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution).
Foliar application
Spray a concentration of 2-5% (2-5 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution) 2 to 3 times in the tillering stage and stem elongation stage.
ekofertile® plant can be used together with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, liquid fertilisers or microfertile® plant – however, we cannot accept any liability.
For crops showing signs of disease, increase the concentration to 10% (10 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution).
Soil application
For a healthy microbiome, increasing water storage capacity, activating soil weathering processes, nutrient availability and enhancing fertiliser efficiency: water the roots 1 to 2 times at any time during the season with a concentration of 5% (5 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution).
It can be mixed with other fertilisers.
Foliar application
To increase immunity against fungal, bacterial and viral diseases, to increase root system, thus yield, quality and sugar content, and to increase heat and drought resistance: apply a concentration of 5% (5 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution) 3 times at regular intervals during the whole growth stage by spraying on the leaves.
Application shortly before harvest of sugar beets increases the sugar content. For yield increase of early varieties of potatoes already 2% show effects (2 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 litres of solution), for later varieties up to 5% should be used.
It can be used together with herbicides, fungicides, insecticides or liquid fertilisers– however, we cannot accept any liability.
For plants showing signs of disease, increase the concentration to 10% (10 litres of ekofertile® plant per 100 liters of solution).
Irrigation
5% concentration ekofertile® plant (5 litres of product per 100 liters of solution) applied 3-4 times in regular intervals during the vegetative growth.
